Terms of Use

These Terms govern CNTC, the CNTC website, shared-list collaboration, feedback services, and the optional Shared List Creator purchase. By using CNTC, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

CNTC does not require a separate CNTC account. Shared features use the Apple Account signed in to iCloud on your compatible device.

Apple terms and license

CNTC is distributed through Apple. Apple’s standard end-user license agreement governs the license to use the app. These Terms supplement that agreement and govern CNTC’s website, sharing services, feedback, and purchase-related behavior. Apple processes App Store purchases, purchase restoration, and refund requests.

CNTC is licensed, not sold. Your right to use the app is subject to Apple’s standard end-user license agreement and App Store usage rules.

Shared lists and contact information

You are responsible for using CNTC lawfully and respecting others’ privacy. Choose recipients and contact fields with reasonable care, especially when information is sensitive or private.

You must not use CNTC to harass, impersonate, deceive, monitor, exploit, or harm another person; distribute unlawfully obtained information; bypass access controls; or violate privacy, data-protection, intellectual-property, or other laws.

Owners and authorized participants control list membership and permissions through Apple iCloud. A participant may import or otherwise save information they can view. CNTC cannot guarantee that removing access deletes copies already saved outside the shared list.

If you create a CNTC invitation URL, you authorize CNTC to display the list title and your customized display name, if you set one, to people who receive that URL. Otherwise CNTC uses a generic label on the website. Choose a list title and display name suitable for disclosure, protect invitation URLs from unintended recipients, and disable or revoke links that should no longer be used. Apple’s iCloud sharing service makes the final decision to grant or deny list access.

If you allow sharing activity notifications, CNTC and Apple may deliver useful membership and permission events, such as a request, approval, invitation acceptance or cancellation, permission change, removal, or the end of sharing. Delivery is best effort and should not be treated as the authoritative access state; the current sharing state in iCloud controls access.

Availability and synchronization

CNTC’s shared features depend on Apple Contacts, iCloud, compatible devices, network access, and an active Apple Account. Synchronization may be delayed or unavailable because of device state, account configuration, permissions, network conditions, Apple service availability, or software defects.

Review important information before relying on it. CNTC is not an emergency service, identity system, backup service, or guaranteed source of current contact information.

Purchases

Joining, viewing, and editing a list shared with you does not require a CNTC purchase. The Shared List Creator product is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited list creation for the Apple Account entitlement Apple reports to CNTC.

The price and currency shown by the App Store before confirmation apply. Apple controls payment, tax, refunds, revocations, and transaction availability. If Apple revokes or refunds the entitlement, the unlocked creation capability may become unavailable. Existing list data in iCloud is not intentionally deleted merely because an entitlement changes.

Feedback and security

You may submit bug reports, feature requests, and other feedback, optionally including a contact email, limited diagnostics, and up to three images. Only submit images you have the right to share. Review and crop them because removing embedded metadata does not remove information visible in the image itself.

Do not submit confidential information, private contact data, invitation URLs, passwords, payment details, unlawful content, or material that violates another person’s rights. You allow CNTC to use submitted feedback and attachments to provide support and to operate, secure, and improve the product without an obligation to implement or compensate for it.

Do not attack, overload, probe, reverse engineer beyond rights granted by law, automate abusive requests, forge authenticated app requests, or interfere with CNTC, its website, or other users.

Changes and termination

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may restrict access to web services when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity. These actions do not give us access to delete private iCloud data we do not control.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, CNTC is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free synchronization, participant behavior, or the accuracy of contact information. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
